Remarks | The Jagdtiger [Hunting Tiger] was built on an extended
Koenigstiger chassis. The Version with Henschel suspension (thus the additional name, Henschel-Fahrwerk) was chosen as production version after the attempts with a Porsche suspension were not satisfying. The Jagdtiger was far superior to all enemy tanks, however most of them were given up by their crews due to lack of fuel. |
